Expect excellence and world-leading dialogue

The Asia Pacific Financial and Innovation Symposium (APFIS) is back in Melbourne in 2025 with a stellar line-up of global leaders and local heavyweights.

Financial Services is the largest industry in Victoria, representing 11 per cent of Victoria's Gross State Product and employing 130,000 people.

With Melbourne as the headquarter city for 10 of Australia's largest superannuation funds, accounting for 50 per cent of superannuation assets under management, it is the ideal host of APFIS.

And, with Australia having the world’s third-largest pension pool, with superannuation funds forecast to grow to $4 trillion, there is much to discuss – as we will hear on stage from the CIOs of the country’s largest funds.

Global financial giants convening to the stage include Blackstone President Jon Gray, Apollo President Jim Zelter and Brookfield APAC co-President Stewart Upson – representing trillions in assets under management.

Asia private equity stalwart Henry Cornell brings unique insights into the changing opportunity set in Asia, and exciting additions to this year’s stage include Tesla Motors Chair Robyn Denholm, fusion energy pioneer Bob Mumgaard, geopolitical expert David Bridges and real estate veteran Sue Lloyd-Hurwitz.

Setting the scene will be Victorian Treasurer and Minister for Industrial Relations and Minister for Regional Development, Hon. Jaclyn Symes, and the Minister for Environment, Tourism, Sport, Major Events and Outdoor Recreations, Steve Dimopoulos.

The Victorian Government encourages you to take an active role in positioning the state as a global financial hub that will drive capital growth by registering to attend APFIS 2025.

I encourage you to join us at APFIS 2025 to learn, network and engage with leaders in our sector.
